Marinated Lamb Chops With Honey Yogurt Sauce

Lighten up your summer dinners with grilled Ontario garlic and herb marinated Ontario lamb chops. Serve with a refreshing honey yogurt and side salad for a healthy weeknight meal, ready in less than 20 minutes.

| 1-1/2 lb | Ontario lamb chops | 750 g |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil | 30 mL |
| 2 tbsp | lemon juice | 30 mL |
| 2 | cloves garlic, minced | 2 |
| 1 tbsp | fresh chopped cilantro | 15 mL |
| 1 tbsp | fresh chopped parsley | 15 mL |
| 1/2 tsp | each, coarse salt and fresh cracked pepper | 2 mL |
| Honey Yogurt Sauce | ||
| 1/2 cup | plain low fat yogurt | 125 mL |
| 1 tbsp | liquid honey | 15 mL |
| 1 tsp | lemon zest | 5 mL |
| 1/4 tsp | each, coarse salt and fresh cracked pepper | 1 mL |
| 1 tbsp | fresh chopped cilantro | 15 mL |
In re-sealable plastic bag, combine, lamb chops, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cilantro, parsley, salt and pepper. Seal and shake well to combine. Refrigerate and let sit for at least one hour or up to one day.
In bowl, whisk together yogurt, honey, lemon zest, salt, pepper and cilantro. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Preheat grill to medium high. Grill lamb on a greased grill until medium rare, about 3 minutes per side. Let rest 5 minutes before serving with yogurt sauce on side.
